Looking for anthropogenic contamination in Argentinan waters, Simon Zamora Martin and his team got a first look at how ICP-MS measurements are carried out in our lab.The samples were taken in two lagoons in the northwest of Argentina, close to areas where mining takes place.
Looking to understand the possibilities of As contamination in these waters, they sent their samples to the group. After Sylvya carried out the analyses, the NDR Panorama team came to discuss the results with Britta regarding As, trace element contents and changes in the geochemistry of the anthropogenically affected lagoon.
